Samantha West

Director of Administration at Public Sector Consultants

While most people would consider golf an individual sport, Sam doesn’t. In fact, she would go as far to say it’s a full‐on team endeavor. Even though she carefully selects her clubs, painstakingly measures the green, and takes the shots solo, Sam credits her finesse with the game to the team supporting her before and after each swing. Whether caddies or coaches, she makes sure to collaborate with every member of her team, thoughtfully consider their viewpoints, and plan a course of action to achieve her goals.

Sam brings this commitment to teamwork to PSC, where she serves as a senior executive assistant. In this role, she provides high‐level administrative support to the firm’s principals, oversees their calendars, coordinates meetings, prepares materials and agendas for meetings, and manages a wide variety of tasks on any given day.

Sam joins PSC from state government, where she served as the executive administrator and extradition coordinator to Gov. Rick Snyder. There, her primary responsibilities included managing extradition matters, assisting in the judicial appointment process, providing recommendations to the governor, and analyzing and processing various legal documents.
