Finding ways to enhance processes and identify new solutions has always intrigued Scott. Over the course of his career, he has been fortunate to apply that interest within local and state government systems and nonprofit structures. Scott’s work is grounded in the belief that everything we do boils down to helping improve conditions and standards so that everyone can lead a productive life. After receiving his MBA, he became particularly focused on taking effective business practices and applying them in governmental settings.
Scott’s work with public agencies and nonprofit organizations ultimately led him to the health and human services field. Now, as an affiliate consultant with PSC, he uses his vast experience to identify opportunities for collaborating with other entities to improve health outcomes and advance human potential.
Scott served as vice president on PSC’s health team for several years before transitioning to an affiliate position. Before that, he led the Michigan Association of United Ways — a statewide association focused on the human services sector. There, his primary responsibilities included building innovative public/private partnerships and leveraging the resources of various sectors to better people’s lives.
