Miranda Merritt

Miranda Merritt's work experience includes various roles and positions. In 2016, they participated in the Youth Leadership Greater Washington program, which aimed to develop young leaders and raise awareness of global issues. In 2018, they were a Scholar in the BLUFORD HEALTHCARE LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE, where they gained exposure to healthcare, business administration, and finance. In 2019, they worked as a Research Intern for the United States Department of Defense, overseeing CBRN testing and documenting infrastructure claims. In 2020, they worked as a Deloitte Summer Scholar. Since 2014, Miranda has been working at Digidoc Inc as the Chief of Staff, performing business development functions and conducting on-site meetings in the hotel industry. Miranda Merritt has a strong education background with a focus on science and engineering. Miranda began their academic journey at Thomas Edison High School, where they completed a Full International Baccalaureate Diploma between 2013 and 2017. Following this, Miranda pursued their higher education at Spelman College from 2017 to 2021, majoring in Chemistry as part of their Dual Degree Engineering program.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Miranda enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2021 to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering, highlighting their interest in the engineering field. Furthermore, they obtained a certification as an AWS Technical Professional from Amazon Web Services in May 2020, showcasing their dedication to expanding their skill set and staying updated in the industry.
