Richard Thompson

Richard Thompson is a seasoned nuclear engineer with over 40 years of experience in the nuclear power industry. Currently serving as Principal Nuclear Engineer at PSEG since January 2024, Richard previously worked at Holtec International as a Nuclear Engineer, where responsibilities included management support as Discipline Lead for Dry Cask Storage and Spent Fuel Pool analyses. Prior to that, Richard spent more than four decades at Exelon, holding the position of Senior Reactor Engineer and serving as a Subject Matter Expert Instructor for Reactivity Management and Licensed Operator training. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from Penn State University.
