Sam Powell

Sam Powell has extensive experience in the engineering and technical fields, currently serving as an Instrumentation and Control Technician at PSEG since July 2013, where responsibilities include testing and maintaining electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical equipment while interpreting readings and outputs. Prior to this role, Sam worked as a Machine Set Up A at Glacier Garlock Bearing, specializing in the operation of CNC winding machines and quality control. Additional experience includes batch mixing at Kelstar International and dispatching at AAA Mid-Atlantic. Sam holds an A.A.S. in Nuclear Energy Technology from Salem Community College and an Associate's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from Excelsior University, along with a degree in Electrician from the Professional Career Development Institute.
