Alexa Smith

Alexa Smith serves as the Associate Artistic Director and Director of Cultural Transformation at The Public Theater since March 2023, while also taking on the role of Senior Director for Anti-racism, Equity, and Belonging at HELL'S KITCHEN Broadway from January 2024. Previously, Alexa held various positions at Manhattan School of Music from August 2018 to March 2023, including Associate Vice President for Strategic Innovation and Chief of Staff, overseeing a diverse performance calendar of over 800 events. Alexa's experience includes serving as Director of Marketing at New York City Opera and Director of Operations at Baltz & Company, with an educational background comprising an MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, an MM in Classical Voice from Manhattan School of Music, and a BM in Classical Voice from Roosevelt University.
