Nate Shelton

Nate Shelton is a seasoned professional in the theater industry, currently serving as a Business Representative for Broadway at Actors' Equity Association since May 2015. Shelton has a diverse range of roles, including Assistant Company Manager and Company Management Assistant at The Public Theater, where work has been ongoing since November 2018. Previous experience includes a role as a Representative at TDF, a Visitor Experiences Associate at Brooklyn Children's Museum, and a Teaching Artist at the Smithsonian Institution, specializing in educational theatre for preschoolers. Shelton also has experience in customer service from a position as Shift Leader at South Block Co., and has contributed to theatrical productions as a Theater Producer at Sidwell Friends School. An early career role as an Artistic Development-Casting Fellow at Arena Stage included responsibilities such as coordinating auditions and managing actor databases. Shelton holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Howard University.
