Ben Hubbard has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries. Ben started their career as a Trainee Solicitor at Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC) in 2008 and worked there until 2010. Ben then joined Random House Group as an Assistant Commercial lawyer from 2010 to 2013. In 2014, they joined the BBC as a Legal & Business Affairs Manager and worked there until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Senior Legal Counsel at Lion Re:Sources. Ben then took on additional responsibilities as the Lead UK Privacy Counsel from 2017 to 2021. Currently, they are working as the Digital & Data Practice Legal Lead at Lion Re:Sources starting from April 2021. Prior to their professional career, they served as the President and Campaigns Officer for the Liverpool Guild of Students LGBT Standing Committee from 2004 to 2006, where they were responsible for external communications, dispute resolutions, and managing a committee.

Ben Hubbard attended the University of Liverpool from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a LLB Law degree with a 2.1 (Hons) classification. From 2007 to 2008, they attended BPP Law School, where they pursued a LPC degree in Legal Practice.
