Vasu Vembar

Vasu Vembar has extensive work experience in various technology and leadership roles. Vasu started their career at Walmart.com, where they worked as the Director of Web Operations and later as the Director of Engineering Strategy. Vasu then joined Walmart Global E-Commerce as a Senior Director of Global E-commerce.

Vasu also worked at Target as part of the Digital Strategy team, where they developed and delivered an e-Commerce, m-Commerce, and Multichannel strategy. Vasu was responsible for managing a budget of over $150 million and driving the Technology digital profitability initiative.

Vasu later joined KIXEYE as the VP of Technology and Operations, where they played a key role in improving the reliability and scalability of the gaming platform while reducing hosting costs.

Vasu then worked at Engage3 as the SVP of Mobile, Big Data, and Technology, where they focused on implementing technologies to enhance mobile and big data capabilities.

Vasu also worked at Rocketfuel as a Leadership Consultant, leading the transformation of the Ground Control Operations team and transitioning the technology infrastructure to a cloud-enabled platform.

Vasu's experience also includes working at Tavant Technologies as a Consultant e-Business and at Fit for Commerce as a Senior Consultant. Vasu is currently serving as the SVP of Infrastructure and Security at PubMatic.

Throughout their career, Vasu has demonstrated their expertise in technology and operational innovation, strategy development, and cost optimization.

Vasu Vembar attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2010, specializing in CTO - Strategic Leadership of Technology & Innovation. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore. In 2006, they also attended the CIO Institute at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Additionally, Vasu Vembar has an undisclosed education history at SJIHS.
