Erik Masalin

Erik Masalin, CISSP, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles in operations, engineering, and management. Erik currently holds the position of Director of Operations at PubNub since 2022. Prior to this, Erik worked at Micro Focus from 2010 to 2022, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Manager of Operations & Engineering, Manager of DevOps & Cloud Operations, and Manager of Information Technology & Cloud Operations. Erik was responsible for managing technical infrastructure programs, development infrastructure, and leading teams of engineers. Before Micro Focus, Erik worked at Level 3 Communications as a Principal Infrastructure Engineer, where they oversaw the planning and maintenance of servers across multiple sites. Erik also worked at SAVVIS as a Systems Administrator and Cable & Wireless Communications as a Technical Support Manager. Erik's early career includes roles at Exodus Communications as a Customer Response Center Manager and Internet Systems Engineer Manager.
