Cristian Puga has extensive work experience in various roles at Puga, Mujica Asociados S.A. Cristian has served as the Chief Executive Officer since February 2020 and was also a member of the Board of Directors from January 2009 to March 2020. In addition, Cristian has held the positions of President of Subsidiary Company ICOFEL and Business Development Director, where they were responsible for the business strategy, client relations, bidding preparations, and international partnerships. Cristian also oversaw the Procurement Department and Controllers Team. Previously, Cristian worked as a Project Manager, overseeing the design and construction of industrial projects with a focus on budgeting, team leadership, and legal compliance. Prior to joining Puga, Mujica Asociados S.A., Cristian worked as a Project Engineer at Hatfield Consultants and as a Construction Site Manager, gaining field experience in the design and construction of industrial projects. Recently, Cristian also pursued further education, completing the Sloan Fellow MSc in Leadership and Strategy at the London Business School in 2019.
Cristian Puga's education history begins with their high school education at The Grange School, which they attended from 1982 until 1995. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Birmingham in 2000. In 1996, they attended the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero Civil Industrial with a concentration in Mecánica in 2001. Finally, in 2019, they attended the London Business School for a brief period, completing the Sloan MSc Leadership and Strategy program.
