Joseph do

Joseph Do, PE, is an experienced engineer specializing in grid modernization and utility automation, currently serving as a Grid Modernization Strategy and Enablement Engineer at Puget Sound Energy since June 2016. In this role, Joseph advances the company's grid capabilities to support distributed energy resources and improves energy delivery for growing customer needs. Prior positions at Puget Sound Energy include Protection, Automation, and Controls Engineer, as well as Substation Design Engineer, where responsibilities included developing protection schemes, designing substation layouts, and creating outage mitigation plans. Previously, at Seattle City Light from July 2012 to May 2016, Joseph contributed as a Grid Modernization and Utility Automation Engineer, focusing on distribution automation systems and SCADA designs, and served as a System Protection Intern. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington, awarded in 2014.
