Jennifer Barnes is a seasoned professional in transportation planning and engineering with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Program Manager for Transportation Planning & Projects at Puget Sound Regional Council since December 2020, Jennifer has previously held roles including Associate Principal at Heffron Transportation and Senior Transportation Planner at both ICF International and Jones & Stokes. Jennifer's foundational experience also includes positions as a Civil Engineer at Ashton Barnes, Inc., a Transportation Engineer at Bucher, Willis & Ratliff Corporation, and various roles at CyRide, including Operations Assistant and Transit Operator. Educated with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering focusing on Transportation from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University, Jennifer combines strong technical expertise with a depth of practical experience in the transportation sector.
