Taylor Melanie

Taylor Melanie has an extensive background in public education and relations, with over two decades of experience in various roles within fire safety organizations. Taylor has served as Chair, Past Chair, and Board Member for the Washington Public Fire Educators since 2006 and has been a Lead Public Education/Public Relations Specialist at Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority since 2005. In addition, Taylor has been involved with the King County Fire & Life Safety Association as a Board Member and Secretary from 1997 until January 2024. Previous experience includes a position as Public Education/PIO at Maple Valley Fire Department and a foundational career in customer service and public relations at Alaska Airlines and Special Times Bridal AND Formal Wear.
