Richard Cole

Richard Cole is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in restructuring, corporate development, and investment banking. Currently serving as a Consultant in Restructuring for a confidential luxury retailer since September 2022, Richard focuses on rebuilding financial and operational structures while reporting to the CFO. Previously, as the Director of Finance & Corporate Development at Whittle School & Studios, Richard developed strategic financial infrastructure for an early-stage education startup. Richard's tenure at Ambac Financial Group as Assistant Vice President saw significant contributions to financial modeling, valuation, and restructuring efforts, including the successful restructuring of over $1 billion in insured liabilities. Richard began a career in finance as an Equity Research Analyst at XP Investimentos and advanced through roles including Investment Banking Analyst at BroadSpan Capital, and Business Valuation Intern at BMF - Bober Markey Fedorovich. Richard holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Kent State University.
