Lawrence Bistrong, MD, FCCP, serves as the Co-Medical Director of Critical Care Service at Mercy San Juan Medical Center since April 2021 and as the Medical Director of Cardiopulmonary Services at Mercy San Juan Hospital since February 2020. With extensive experience that includes a role as a Physician at Pulmonary Medicine, Infectious Disease & Critical Care Consultants Medical Group, Inc. since October 2008, Bistrong has a strong educational background, having earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Saint George's University School of Medicine (1997-2001) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology from the University at Buffalo (1991-1996). Additionally, Bistrong completed training at California Northstate University College of Medicine, where the position of Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine was attained from 2017 to 2022.
