Julien Jonvaux

Julien Jonvaux is a seasoned R&D and mechanical design engineer with extensive experience in the medical device industry, particularly in hearing aids and infusion pumps. Currently serving as a Staff R&D Engineer at Pulmonx Corporation since January 2022, Julien previously held positions at Eargo, BioQ Pharma Incorporated, and Earlens Corporation, where responsibilities included developing mechanical models, optimizing systems for efficiency, and leading prototyping efforts. Julien's earlier roles involved design and analysis of mechanical packaging for hearing aids at GN ReSound and conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for various components. With a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Master's degree from Centrale Nantes, Julien combines academic rigor with practical engineering solutions.
