Joe Kukura

Joe Kukura has a diverse work experience in writing and photography roles. Joe started as a writer and photographer for Thrillist Media Group in 2016, where they wrote feature copy for a popular lifestyle blog and was in charge of digital photography and photo editing. Before that, they worked as a feature writer and sponsored content writer for SF Weekly, where they wrote articles and online copy, conducted research and interviews, and created marketing copy for sponsored content. In 2014, Joe worked as a feature writer and photographer for Gothamist.com, writing news articles and managing content using a CMS. Prior to that, they were a writer for PulsePoint, writing tech news and sponsored content for various clients. Joe also worked as a digital content and blog editor for NerdWallet, writing features and blog posts and performing research and brand outreach. Joe's earlier experiences include working as a writer for RealPlayer and NexTag, where they wrote web copy and search engine optimized marketing copy respectively.

Joe Kukura attended Ohio University from 1989 to 1995 and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education.
