Don Blea has extensive experience in the field of information technology and infrastructure management. Don started their career in 1993 as a Manager at American Management Systems (AMS), where they managed technical teams responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and securing LAN, WAN, and mainframe environments. Don also created and managed task and budget plans and installed virtual private network connectivity.
In 1994, Blea became a Team Leader at American Management Systems, managing a team of eight network engineers providing customer support for applications, networks, and security infrastructure. Don also set up voice and data networks in multiple buildings.
Blea then joined Oppenheimer Funds as a consultant in 1997 and later became the VP of Technical Services at Insurance Information Exchange (IIX). At these organizations, they provided consulting expertise and led technical service teams.
From 1997 to 1998, Blea served as a Senior Network Engineer and Senior Project Manager at Business Products, Inc. Don provided consulting expertise in Novell, Windows/NT, Lotus Notes, and Cisco software and hardware configurations. Don also managed projects related to the integration of information technology.
In 1998, Blea joined AMS Holding Group as a Senior Manager, where they consolidated corporate financial database systems and led a WAN analysis project that resulted in significant cost savings. Don also created a voice/data integration plan to build a private voice/data network.
Blea then worked at WestNet Learning Technologies as a Senior Instructor, teaching network certification courses and providing authoring services for network curricula.
In 1999, Blea joined Qwest Communications as a Senior Manager, where they managed network engineering teams and led various projects related to network integration, security, and training. Don also designed, implemented, and managed Qwest's IT networks and customer monitoring/management networks.
Since 2002, Blea has been working as a self-employed Independent Senior Consultant, specializing in infrastructure operations, engineering, and security. Don has managed technical teams, developed and managed IT budgets, and implemented infrastructure technology strategies.
Since 2004, Blea has also been working at Pulte Mortgage LLC as the VP of Infrastructure, Information Security & Support. Don manages teams responsible for infrastructure engineering, architecture, operations, information security, and IT support. Don is also in charge of the expense and capital budgets for IT and is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting all IT components.

Don Blea attended Ranum High School from 1977 to 1980, where they focused on sports. Don then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Regis University from 1997 to 2001. At the same university, they also completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, they obtained another Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Networking from Regis University, studying from 1995 to 2001, and again from 1995 to 2000.
