Beth Lowenthal, PharmD, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Beth has held multiple roles in the pharmaceutical industry, starting as an Assistant Manager, Medical Information at Guilford Pharmaceuticals in 2001. Beth then moved on to TAP Pharmaceuticals as an Assistant Director, Medical Affairs. In 2004, they joined PDL BioPharma as a Senior Manager, Medical Science Liaisons, and later worked at Human Genome Sciences as a Director, MSLs. In 2008, they founded Cellona Therapeutics where they served as the Founder & VP Research until 2016. Beth also worked at Dova Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director Medical Affairs before taking up the role of Associate Director, Medical Affairs at Sobi - North America in 2021. In the same year, they became the Director, MSLs East at Puma Biotechnology, Inc., and currently holds the position of Associate Director, Clinical Science at the same company. Prior to their pharmaceutical career, Beth was a Pharmacy Manager at Giant Food for almost three decades.

Beth Lowenthal, PharmD, MBA, began their formal education in 1990 at Atholton High School, where they earned a diploma in 1993. Beth then attended the University of Maryland from 1992 to 1996, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in French. In 1997, they enrolled at the University of Maryland Baltimore, completing their studies in 2001 and earning a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Continuing their education, they attended Loyola University Maryland from 2002 to 2006, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on finance.
