Mohammad Farooqi

Mohammad Farooqi has a strong background in software engineering and development. Mohammad is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Pumpjack Dataworks since October 2020. Prior to this, they held the role of Development Consultant at Smile Digital Health from April 2018 to December 2022.

Before joining Smile Digital Health, Mohammad worked as an Application Developer at Digi International from July 2017 to March 2019. During this time, they developed a web app from scratch using Angular 4, Node.js, Hapi.js, and Kue.

Mohammad also worked as a Full Stack Developer at Uqaab Consultants from October 2015 to June 2017. In addition, Mohammad has experience working at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets as a Senior Technical Analyst and Technology Analyst from May 2015 to October 2016 and September 2014 to April 2015, respectively.

Furthermore, they worked as a Technical Analyst at Dundee Capital Markets from May 2014 to August 2014.

Mohammad's career began at Ryerson University, where they worked as a Helpdesk from September 2012 to July 2013. In this role, they were responsible for assembling lab equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing software data back-ups and inventory checks.

Mohammad also has experience in sales, having worked as a Sales Associate at Glentel from March 2011 to August 2012 and as a Cellular Product Expert at Future Shop from November 2008 to March 2011.

Prior to venturing into software development, Mohammad worked as a Consultant at Accsoft Business Solutions Inc. from May 2009 to August 2009.

Throughout their career, Mohammad Farooqi has gained extensive experience in various roles and industries, demonstrating their versatility and adaptability in the field of technology.

Mohammad Farooqi attended Sheridan College from 2013 to 2016, where they pursued a degree in Computer Systems Technology with a focus on Software Development and Network Engineering Co-op. Mohammad also attended Ryerson University from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with Honours in Business Technology Management. Prior to that, in 2008 and 2009, they attended Sheridan College for a degree in Computer System Technology, with a focus on Software Development and Network Engineering Co-op.
