Prashant Arun Patil

Prashant Arun Patil is an experienced professional in the automotive engineering field, currently serving as Product Lead for eDCT Transmission at Punch Powertrain PSA e-transmissions B V since May 2020, where responsibilities include leading the development of eDCT gearboxes for hybrid applications. Prior to this role, Prashant held the position of Senior Manager at Tata Motors from November 2018 to May 2020, overseeing gearbox design and development phases, as well as defining testing specifications. Experience also includes working as a Sr Engineer at John Deere, performing drivetrain analyses, and as an Application Engineer at National Engineering Industries Ltd., focusing on customer relations and advanced life analysis of bearings. Earlier in the career, from July 2011 to November 2014, Prashant was a Product Engineer at NRB Bearings Ltd., concentrating on new product design and development for various bearing types.
