Marek Zvara has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marek began their career in 2013 as a Bass player for Curiozity and later worked as an iOS app Developer for Reinto in 2015. In 2016, Marek worked as a Software Engineer for Master Internet (MasterDC) and then transitioned to becoming a Freelancer in 2017. During this time, they worked as an iOS Developer for Use-Verb and also pursued their own projects as a sole proprietor. In 2017, Marek joined Pura as an iOS Senior engineer, where they played a key role in developing the iOS mobile application for the Pura Smart Home Diffuser. Marek continued with Pura and took on the role of Tech Lead in May 2021, where they were responsible for providing technical direction, code quality, and overseeing the development lifecycle and day-to-day operation of the team. Additionally, Marek collaborated with other teams and worked closely with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager. While working at Pura, they participated in various projects, including building new user experiences, enhancing controls for existing hardware devices, and leveraging technology such as AWS IoT, Firebase, and Bluetooth Low Energy. In 2014, Marek also gained experience as a Photographer for the Business Academy, z.s. and volunteered at the Pohoda festival in the same year.
