Mark Pidcock

Mark Pidcock has a diverse work experience in financial planning and analysis. Mark is currently working at Pura as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager since February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A at Pura from March 2022 to February 2023.

Before joining Pura, Mark worked at L3Harris Technologies for five years as a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A. Mark was responsible for consolidating and preparing sector financials for segment and corporate management. Mark also managed the accounting information system for accurate corporate reporting. Mark was involved in forecasting financial statements and had experience with sales totaling $1 million.

Mark also gained valuable experience at L-3 Communication Systems - West, where they held two roles. As a Senior Financial Analyst I.T. Conversion from April 2010 to June 2017, they directed a team during a major software conversion and consolidated three legacy systems into one comprehensive finance system. Mark improved labor efficiencies and provided transparent data to all levels of management.

In their previous role as a Senior Financial Analyst Overhead and Functional Costs from August 2008 to April 2014, Mark served as the primary liaison between the Director of Finance and organization Directors. Mark established financial plans, created budgets, and forecasted business plans. Mark also identified clients' needs and developed presentation strategies to increase performance and profitability.

Mark's early career included a role as a Staff Accountant at First Utah Bank from January 2003 to August 2008. In this position, they supported the CFO and Controller in budget creation and analysis by providing variance analysis performance reports and historical trends. Mark also served as a liaison during government audits and audited and reconciled all general ledger accounts on the balance sheet.

Mark Pidcock has a diverse education history. Mark obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix from 2008 to 2010. Prior to their MBA, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Utah between 2004 and 2006. Before that, they completed an Associate's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Salt Lake Community College from 2001 to 2003. Mark's education journey began at Hillcrest High School, where they completed their high school education from 1995 to 1998. Apart from their formal education, Mark also holds additional certifications in "Getting Started | Fundamentals" and "Getting Started | Structured Planning" from Planful, Inc., obtained in April 2022.
