Marty Jackson

Marty Jackson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in data engineering and data science. Marty's most recent role was as a Senior Data Engineer at Pura since May 2022. Prior to that, Marty worked as a Data Engineer at The Dyrt from December 2020 to April 2022. Marty also has experience as a Data Scientist at Certilytics from October 2016 to December 2020. Marty's earlier work experience includes being a Teaching Assistant at American University from August 2014 to November 2018, a Data Consultant at Select Medical in June 2016, a Research Assistant at SHPS in May 2014, and a Data Analyst Intern at Select Medical from May 2012 to August 2012.

Marty Jackson pursued their education in the field of Economics. Marty obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from Bucknell University in the years 2009-2013. In 2011, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to study Environmental Economics during a summer course. Continuing their academic journey, Marty enrolled at American University and completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics from 2014-2016. Marty then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidacy in Economics at the same institution from 2014-2018.
