Katharine Barber

Katharine Barber has worked in the heritage sector since 1999. Katharine began their career as a Field Archaeologist at Archaeological Development Services in 1999, followed by a role as an Archaeological Project and Research Officer/ Field Archaeologist at Irish Archaeological Consultancy Ltd in 2002. From 2005 to 2012, they worked as a Principal Heritage Consultant at Wessex Archaeology, then in 2012 they became an Associate Partner- Heritage Team Leader London and South East at Purcell.

Katharine Barber obtained a BA Hons in History and Archaeology from the University of Leicester. Katharine then went on to receive a Master of Studies (MSt) in History of Design from the University of Oxford. Additionally, they are a Member (MCIfA) of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists.
