Chris Wright

Chris Wright, MBA, BSN, serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Nursing Officer at Purcell Municipal Hospital since August 2021, overseeing this not-for-profit rural hospital and its clinics. Prior to this role, Chris held significant leadership positions at OU Health as Director of the Neuroscience Service Line, managing 240 FTEs and various critical care services. Chris also served as Interim Director of the Neuroscience Institute at The Queen’s Medical Center, Associate Administrator for Neuroscience and Orthopedic Services at Community Medical Centers, and Director of Cardiovascular, Neuroscience, and Critical Care Services at Lutheran Medical Center. Early career experience includes critical roles in quality improvement and service line development at St. David's HealthCare. Chris earned an MBA from Colorado State University and a BSN from West Texas State University.
