Christopher McGalliard serves as the Chief Electrical Engineer for Purdue Electric Racing, leading a student-run electric race car design team with over 100 members since August 2022. Responsibilities include overseeing the design, manufacturing, and testing of all vehicle hardware and software, with key projects focused on Navigation, Dashboard, Motor Control, Vehicle Control Unit, Data Acquisition, Cooling, and Battery Management Systems. Previous experience includes roles at Garmin, Tesla, EControls, and OPENLANE, where Christopher contributed to software development, firmware writing, and parameter synchronization across multiple platforms. Christopher is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Purdue University, with an expected graduation in December 2025.
