Jon Desmet

Jon DeSmet has extensive experience in the banking industry, with their most recent role being a Senior Account Vice President at Purdue Federal Credit Union since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Horizon Bank as a Vice President - Senior Commercial Loan Officer for a short period in 2017. From 2014 to 2017, they held the position of VP / Commercial Loan Officer at Lafayette Community Bank. Jon also served as Vice President Commercial Lending at Kentland Bank from 2013 to 2014. Jon'scareer in banking began at The Fountain Trust Company, where they worked as an Assistant Vice President / Lending Officer from 2002 to 2013.

Jon DeSmet pursued their education, starting in 1998, at Wabash College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and English Literature in 2002. Following this, from 2006 to 2008, Jon attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, focusing on the field of study in Banking.
