Demetria Pettie

Demetria Pettie, MSOL, currently serves as the Director of TRIO Student Support Services at Purdue University Fort Wayne, a role held since October 2021, where responsibilities include leadership development for program staff, budget management, and compliance with federal mandates. Previously, Demetria was the Assistant Director in the same department, focusing on student engagement and data evaluation. Prior experience includes roles at Indiana Institute of Technology as a Student Success Advisor and Career Coach, as well as positions at Park Center, Brightpoint, and the City of Fort Wayne, highlighting a strong background in student advocacy, behavioral health, and educational program coordination. Demetria holds a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University Bloomington in Criminal Justice with a minor in African American Diaspora Studies.
