Alaina Cruse, M.A., CCC-SLP, MT-BC, currently serves as a Speech Language Pathologist at Rush Memorial Hospital, focusing on dysphagia and communication disorders in both adults and children. With extensive experience, Alaina also works as a Music Therapist at Pure Abilities Therapeutic Services, where intervention designs target communication skills and emotional regulation. Previous roles include serving as a Graduate Student Clinician at Indiana University Health, Edgewood Primary School, and Indiana University Bloomington, providing assessments and treatments in various pediatric and adult populations. Prior experiences include music therapy roles at The Bristal Assisted Living and in the Peace Corps as a Special Education Assistant, along with significant clinical training during an internship at Matheny Medical and Educational Center.
