Pure Abilities Therapeutic Services
Alaina Cruse, M.A., CCC-SLP, MT-BC, currently serves as a Speech Language Pathologist at Rush Memorial Hospital, focusing on dysphagia and communication disorders in both adults and children. With extensive experience, Alaina also works as a Music Therapist at Pure Abilities Therapeutic Services, where intervention designs target communication skills and emotional regulation. Previous roles include serving as a Graduate Student Clinician at Indiana University Health, Edgewood Primary School, and Indiana University Bloomington, providing assessments and treatments in various pediatric and adult populations. Prior experiences include music therapy roles at The Bristal Assisted Living and in the Peace Corps as a Special Education Assistant, along with significant clinical training during an internship at Matheny Medical and Educational Center. Alaina holds a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy from the State University of New York at Fredonia.

Pure Abilities, LLC is an Indiana based company that provides Recreational Therapy, Behavior Management, and Music Therapy services to individuals with disabilities through the Medicaid Waiver System. We are client-focused with a one-on-one therapeutic approach for clients of all ages and disabilities. We're established to provide high-quality therapy services through the use of many therapeutic intervention techniques designed to fit each client’s lifestyle. Pure Abilities, LLC is interested in meeting other Recreational Therapists who are interested in employment opportunities, internship opportunities, discussion, and treatments.
