Rodrigo Velarde

Rodrigo Velarde currently serves as Country Director at Pure Earth since February 2023, previously holding the position of Country Manager for Perú. From October 2019 to February 2023, Rodrigo worked as Gerente de comunicaciones y relacionamiento at All in for Development. Rodrigo's earlier roles include Gerente de Proyectos and lider del area de propuestas at Universidad, and Director de Comunicaciones y Relaciones Estratégicas at Oceana. From January 2012 to April 2017, Rodrigo was Gerente de Desarrollo de Negocio for the Environment and Water division and Líder de Desarrollo Sostenible for the Mining & Metallurgy division at SNC-Lavalin. Rodrigo holds a Licenciado in Biología from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and a diplomatura in Comunicaciones y desarrollo sostenible from Universidad de Piura.
