Lori Hipwell

Lori Hipwell, P.Eng., CEM, currently serves as the Director of Energy & Sustainability at Pure Industrial since May 2022. Prior to this role, Lori held the position of Director of Energy and Sustainability at BGIS from January 2019 to May 2022 and was involved in the CDM Program as a Lead and Project Consultant at Toronto Hydro from August 2016 to January 2019. Lori's experience also includes working as an Energy Specialist and PCA consultant at WSP in Canada from June 2009 to August 2016, where responsibilities encompassed energy analysis and performance simulation, as well as sustainability consulting for LEED projects. Earlier roles include Mechanical Designer at Sustainable EDGE Ltd. and Plant Engineering Intern at LANXESS. Lori holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University and is pursuing a Climate Change Policy and Practice Certificate at the University of Toronto, while also having completed studies at Humber College.
