Derek Zahn

Derek is the Chief Claims Officer at PURE Insurance. Prior to joining PURE, Derek spent four years at AIG in their Global Claims Department as the Head of Homeowners and CAT Response, where he focused primarily on overseas claims operations. He has been in the insurance industry for 25 years and has worked for Farmers, Zurich and Maryland Casualty Insurance.

Derek is a graduate of the University of Maryland and currently lives in San Diego, CA. In his free time, Derek enjoys golfing and spending time at the beach with his wife, Carol, and their two children.
