Megan Hand

Megan Hand is a seasoned professional in the underwriting field, currently serving as a Senior Underwriter at PURE Insurance since February 2024. Prior to this role, Megan worked as an Underwriter at Vault from September 2022 to February 2024 and held various underwriting positions at AIG from July 2019 to September 2022. Megan began the professional journey at Bucknell University, where responsibilities included serving as a Calculus Help Session Leader and Mathematics Grader from January 2016 to May 2018. Additional experience includes a Catastrophe Modeling Internship at TRANSRE in the summer of 2017 and a Data Scientist Internship at AMC Networks in June to August 2016. Leadership skills were demonstrated as Director of Recruitment for Delta Gamma in 2016. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Management from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Bucknell University.
