Delia Garrido

Delia Garrido has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Delia began their career as a Student Transportation Planner with the Regional Municipality of Waterloo in 2006. In 2007, they worked as an Assistant Museum Curator in a paid internship at the University of Waterloo. Delia then transitioned to the University of Waterloo, where they served as a Senior Teaching/Program Assistant and later as an Instructional Support Coordinator, overseeing course administration and managing staff.

In 2012, Delia joined Purity Technology, LLC as a Recruiter, responsible for placing candidates in IT, administrative, and financial positions. Delia broke several accounts and expanded the company's client base. From 2015 to 2019, Delia worked at Two Sigma as a Technical Recruiter, playing a key role in developing and implementing recruiting workflows and processes. Delia also engaged external recruiters and actively recruited for various positions, contributing to the growth and evolution of the company's culture.

In 2018, Delia briefly joined Purity Technology, LLC again, this time as an Account Manager & Sr. Technical Recruiter. Delia'sresponsibilities included managing relationships with clients and conducting technical recruitment. Delia then moved on to Pure IT Credit Union Services in 2019, where they held multiple roles. Initially, Delia served as a Scrum Master, guiding the development team through agile methodologies. Delia later became a Program Manager, overseeing project execution. Currently, they hold the position of VP, Service Strategy, focusing on the strategic management of service delivery.

Delia Garrido obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Waterloo from 2005 to 2010. Delia majored in Social Development Studies with a specialization in HR Management and an option in International Studies. In addition to their degree, Delia also earned the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in May 2020.
