Chris Paterson

Chris Paterson serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Pure Life Carbon Inc. and is a Venture Partner at Tall Grass Ventures, focusing on early-stage agtech investments. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Chris holds board positions at multiple companies including Verve Seeds, Soilgenic Technologies, and Precision AI. Previously, Chris led the xarvio Digital Farming Project for North America at BASF and was Digital Farming Lead for North America at Bayer Crop Science, where strategic initiatives were successfully commercialized within three years. As a founding partner at AGRI-TREND, Chris played a crucial role in developing a leading farm data management platform and several educational initiatives. Chris’s educational background includes degrees in Agriculture, Agronomy, and Economics from the University of Saskatchewan, as well as advanced management training from Harvard Business School and the American Management Association.
