Simon McNamee

Simon McNamee has a diverse work experience in engineering and design roles. Simon is currently working at Pure Electric Limited as the Lead Engineer since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Engineer at the same company from October 2020 to July 2022. Before joining Pure Electric Limited, Simon worked at Sirron Technologies as a Senior Engineer for a brief period in October 2020. Simon also has significant experience at Dyson, where they worked from 2012 to 2020. Simon'sroles at Dyson include Lead Designer, Senior Design Engineer, Design Engineer - Advanced, Design Engineer, and Graduate Design Engineer. Simon started their career as a Senior Sailing Instructor at Datchet Water Sailing Club from March 2009 to September 2012. Simon also worked as part of the Events Team at Made in Brunel from September 2011 to July 2012 and as a Technical Design and Prototyping Intern at OTO 3D from July 2010 to July 2011. Additionally, Simon served as a Presenter/DJ on Radio Brunel from September 2010 to June 2011.

Simon McNamee attended Grosvenor Grammar School from 2001 to 2008. Simon then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Product Design Engineering with a focus on Industrial and Product Design at Brunel University from 2008 to 2012.
