Jia Tan

Jia Tan is a highly skilled security and software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Staff Security Engineer at Pure Storage since January 2025, Jia previously held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Snowflake and a Senior Security Software Engineer at Roblox. Prior to these roles, Jia spent over five years at Google, contributing to various projects within the Information Security Assurance and Apigee Security teams, focusing on vulnerability management and container security. Early career experiences include a Software Development Engineer internship at Amazon and positions as President of the Honor Council and Research Assistant at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
