Purelements: An Evolution in Dance
Catherine Foster possesses extensive experience in the performing arts and fitness education. Since September 2021, Catherine has served as a dancer for the Metropolitan Opera and a guest artist at New York University, while also fulfilling the role of a dance instructor at Achievement First beginning in October 2023. Catherine is a professional dancer with Amazon Prime and Camille A. Brown and Dancers, roles held since January 2021 and January 2003, respectively. Additionally, Catherine contributes as an associate choreographer for "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" on Netflix since July 2019. Catherine has a long-standing commitment to education and wellness through positions as a dance teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools, a fitness/dance educator and teaching artist at The Harlem School of the Arts, a fitness instructor with Asaseyaa Dance, and a personal trainer at Equinox, all while specializing in Horton and West African dance. Education was acquired at the Baltimore School for the Arts.
