Pedro Mendes Ruiz

Pedro Mendes Ruiz has a strong background in RF systems and antenna design. Pedro is currently working as an RF Systems Engineer at pureLiFi Ltd, where they started in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an R&D Engineer at BOWEN FR from 2020 to 2022, focusing on antenna and RF electronics design. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at Télécom ParisTech from 2018 to 2020, specializing in antenna array design for UAV detection. Pedro completed their PhD at SONDRA, where they worked as a Graduate Student from 2015 to 2018, focusing on the design of multi-octave connected spiral arrays. Pedro also gained research experience as an Intern at SONDRA in 2014.

Pedro Mendes Ruiz has an extensive education history in the field of telecommunications. After completing their undergraduate degree in Telecommunications from Escola Politécnica da USP in 2014, Pedro pursued a Diplôme d'Ingénieur in Electromagnétisme et Communication from CentraleSupélec from 2012 to 2014.

Seeking further specialization, Pedro continued their education at CentraleSupélec and obtained a Ph.D. in Multi Octave Spiral Antenna Arrays from 2015 to 2018. Pedro then embarked on a post-doctorate program at Telecom Paris from 2018 to 2020, focusing on Antenna Array Design for UAV Detection.

Additionally, in 2013 and 2014, Pedro pursued a Master's of Science degree in Components and Antennas for Telecommunications from a collaborative program between ENSTA, Paris Sud, CentraleSupélec, and Telecom Paris.
