Jim Matheson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jim started their career as a Software Engineer at Intuit, where they developed and deployed web analytics software. Jim then became the Director of Ecommerce at RideGear.com, before moving on to become the Senior Director of Marketing at SuccessFactors. Following a successful IPO, SuccessFactors was acquired by SAP.
Jim then worked as the VP of Marketing at BlueJeans Network, a video conferencing company, and as the Head of Marketing at Biba Systems, Inc. Jim also served as the VP of Marketing and Advisor at image32, a healthcare technology company. During their time at image32, the company was acquired by Citrix Systems.
In 2013, Jim started their own marketing consultancy called Matheson Marketing and worked as a freelancer. Jim also took on the role of Co-Founder of PureMoto, a company established in 2020.
Jim's experience in marketing and growth led him to join hipages as the VP of Marketing and Growth, where they led a team of marketers, engineers, designers, and data scientists. Jim later joined Flare HR as the Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing the delivery of intuitive HR software and financial wellbeing solutions.
Throughout their career, Jim has demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, sales and marketing models, funnel optimization, demand generation, lead scoring, and nurturing. Jim has a strong focus on breaking down barriers and utilizing technology to address challenges in various industries, including healthcare and HR.
