Dilip Kodira

Dilip Kodira is head of data science at PureTech, where he is responsible for building a strategic road map for accelerating PureTech’s data analysis and discovery capabilities with advanced machine learning and bioinformatics methods. Mr. Kodira has over 20 years of academic and industry experience leading high-profile data analysis efforts and research collaborations. Most recently, he was head of the Computational Biology & Modeling Group at GE Global Research Center. Mr. Kodira also held several leadership positions at Roche, Broad Institute and Celera Genomics, where he led the gene discovery efforts and cataloging of the genes in the first reference human genome. He is the author of over 50 publications in leading scientific journals. Mr. Kodira received an MS in molecular biology from Indiana State University and an MS in microbiology from University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore.
