Toby Pendlebury has held various roles in the brewing industry since 2015. From 2015 to 2021, they have worked as Bar Staff at The Beerhouse, Intern at the University of Exeter, and Intern at Anheuser-Busch InBev. In 2021, they became Quality Control Manager at Purity Brewing Co. During their 3-month internship at Anheuser-Busch InBev Research Brewery in Nottingham, they gained hands-on brewing experience with state-of-the-art brewing equipment, and worked in novel product research and development.
Toby Pendlebury obtained their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Microbiology from The University of Sheffield in 2016. Toby then went on to complete their Master of Science in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from The University of Sheffield in 2017. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology, General from the University of Nottingham in 2021.
