Ben Spaanstra

Ben Spaanstra has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. Ben started their career as a Senior Staff at Crowe Horwath LLP, specializing in middle market merger and acquisition consulting and financial statement audits. In 2009, they joined Spectrum Health as the Director of Finance. In 2015, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Purity Cylinder Gases Inc and its sister company, Airway Oxygen, Inc. At Airway Oxygen, they played a key role in the sale process to Aerocare Holdings. Ben has expertise in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, business acquisitions, and executive leadership.

Ben Spaanstra earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from Grand Valley State University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.
