Michael Conlon is the current VP of IC Systems at Rettig ICC bv. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director of Stelrad Radiators Ltd from January 2011 to April 2015. During their tenure at Stelrad, they oversaw a number of initiatives that led to the company's success, including a net pricing strategy, the introduction of an RMI specific range (Vita), and a streamlined supply chain.
Under Conlon's leadership, Stelrad became the UK market leader and a pan European manufacturer of radiators and heat emitters. The company supplied heating systems to leading UK construction companies and became the preferred choice of heating and M&E contractors throughout UK, Ireland, and Europe.
During their time at Stelrad, Conlon also oversaw the introduction of a 3 year manufacturing development strategy, the introduction of 3 strategic product lines across all functions, the real-time measurement of field sales, and the telesales and web-based project tracking. In addition, they were responsible for the investment in a London office & showroom and architect team, as well as the direct sales model into the CII sector.
Thanks to Conlon's efforts, Stelrad's market share and sales both grew significantly during their tenure, and EBITDA increased from 4.5% to 10%.
Michael Conlon's educational career includes a BA in Business Studies from Leeds University, an A' Level in Economics, Geography, Theirtory, and General Studies from West Park Grammar School (St Helens, Merseyside), and executive management development and leadership training from Sanitec Executive Development, Ashridge Executive Education, Hult International Business School, and Cranfield University.
