Ann Manrique

Ann Manrique has extensive work experience in human resources. Ann started their career at Toys R Us in 1998, where they worked as an HR & Training Coordinator until 2004. Ann then joined Maple Leaf Foods Inc. - Canada Bread Frozen Bakery Division and held roles as a Human Resources Coordinator and later as a Human Resources Consultant. In 2007, they were promoted and transferred to Maple Leaf Foods Inc. - Maple Leaf Bakery USA Division as a Human Resources Manager, where they led a non-union workforce and implemented various initiatives to improve turnover and employee relations. In 2010, Ann transferred within Maple Leaf Foods Inc. to become a Human Resources Manager, first for the GTA region and then for the Transformation project in Maple Leaf Consumer Foods. In these roles, they led workforce planning, retention, succession planning, and managed labor and employee relations. Since 2015, they have been working at Purolator Inc. Ann started as a Divisional Human Resources Manager and moved up to become a Sr. Manager, Corporate Human Resources & Organizational Development. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director Human Resources, Service Delivery, where they work as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team and oversees all levels of Human Resources within Purolator.

Ann Manrique attended York University from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources.
