Josh Shatkin-Margolis

Joshua Shatkin-Margolis is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology executive with a strong background in engineering and business leadership. Currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Purple Cloud since April 2013, Joshua has developed a mobile platform that enhances consumer experiences by connecting them with retailers in both online and physical settings. As the Founder and CEO of Magnetic since February 2008, Joshua has further established a robust presence in the industry. Previous roles include Director of Engineering at Yahoo! and Principal Architect at DoubleClick, complemented by engineering positions at various companies, including Scient, Elytics, Painted Word, and PlanetAll. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earned between 1996 and 2000.
