Mike Hoey

Mike Hoey has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries.

In 2014, they founded Source Meridian, a company that focuses on providing technology solutions and expertise in health tech, big data, text analytics, and pharmaceutical domains. Mike is the owner and founder of this company.

In 2015, Mike became the CTO of PurpleLab Inc. This company offers on-demand, subscription-based access to an administrative claims warehouse. PurpleLab aims to disrupt the status quo with its platform, product, and pricing.

In 2016, Mike joined Ipsum Clinical as a board member. This organization is a site management organization (SMO) in Colombia that conducts clinical trials in Tropical Medicine, metabolic disorders, and Alzheimer's research. They also develop software platforms for medical devices and connected health technologies.

In 2021, Mike was invited to become an Advisory Board Member of The Bogota Post, an English newspaper in Colombia. The media organization has been a trusted source of news on Colombia for English-speaking readers since 2014.

In the future, Mike will serve as a mentor at Yale University's Entrepreneurial Society and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Venture Accelerator. Mike will also be a mentor at the University of Oxford's Oxford Entrepreneurs, the largest entrepreneurship society in Europe. Additionally, they will contribute to Entrepreneur Magazine as a contributor.

Furthermore, Mike will serve as a mentor for the Universidad de Medellín's Entrepreneurship Program and the University of Southern California's (USC) Incubator. These programs aim to accelerate the development of top student and alumni entrepreneurs.

Mike Hoey received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Syracuse University in 1988. Mike pursued further education at the same university and completed their Masters in Electrical Engineering from 1988 to 1990.
