Kate O'Leary has a diverse work experience. Kate currently serves as the Director of Learning and Development at Purple Strategies, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Professorial Lecturer of Writing and Creative Writing at The George Washington University from August 2021 to October 2022. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Professor at Northern Virginia Community College from August 2013 to October 2022.
Kate O'Leary obtained their MFA degree in Creative Writing with a specialization in Creative Nonfiction from George Mason University. This academic pursuit lasted from the year 2009 to 2012.
